Genesis: How to Create like a Creator Pt. 1
The book of Genesis is a personal favorite of mine. Primarily because as society continues to increase in what is called “dark knowledge”. Knowledge without God in or involved. It denies the truth. If you want to know how something started, then you go to the beginning. If you want to know the purpose of something’s creation, then you go to its creator or its creator manual. When you purchase a new gizmo, you allow the manual to tell you the multiple functions of the gizmo.
If we can agree that we are in fact children made from God. That we are made in his image. That he is a creator… Then how come most who are made like Him… Do not produce or create or share the same or similar “might” like Him…. Well.. By reading this you are about to find out…
Let’s start from the very beginning;
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1 KJV)
In my experience, this is one of the most misunderstood verses in the bible. If a person is reading this and is not choosing to decipher and meditate on its meaning, the revelation will escape you. This first verse is giving you a synopsis or precursor of what you’re about to embark on. For example I could say; “I traveled from Australia to Bolder, CO(USA). Well.. That’s fine if you’re someone not looking for revelation in that statement. But it doesn’t give details on my travel. What form of travel? What direction? In other words it doesn’t answer the question “How?” It also doesn’t answer the question of when or in what sequence. ”
Ponder on this;
What was the very first creation of God?
If you just said “Heaven and Earth”… You’re way… Off lol. See… If you’re not truly meditating and having communion this entire revelation will elude you.
Let me have you read it first … So that you can get a better “understanding”.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:1-3 KJV)
So, this “Let there be..” Is Him putting to action his creative power and He made “Light” first.
Next Question: What is this “Light”?
If you said the sun…. You’re way… Off.. Again. Here… Allow me to prove to you when the Sun was created;
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. (Genesis 1:14-19 KJV)
Hmmm… So it’s apparent that both the sun and the moon weren’t created until the 4th day. But in the 1st day he created something called “light”.
When you look up the word light in the bible it appears 272 times. Yes, that’s a lot of “light”. You then have additional words that are plural or verb etc. meaning light they are; lighten, lighted, lightened, lighteneth, lighter, lighteth, lighting etc.
But God first created light, and if this light wasn’t important why was it first? In order to create like God we must understand his methodology to creation.
Proverbs gives us another view of this process of creation. The interesting fact of this view is that it comes from a separate view of God … It comes from another character perspective, and ironically this character is a woman.
Check this out;
Character of a woman
Do you hear Lady Wisdom calling? Can you hear Madame Insight raising her voice? She’s taken her stand at First and Main, at the busiest intersection. Right in the city square where the traffic is thickest, she shouts, “You—I’m talking to all of you, everyone out here on the streets! Listen, you idiots—learn good sense! You blockheads—shape up! Don’t miss a word of this—I’m telling you how to live well, I’m telling you how to live at your best. My mouth chews and savors and relishes truth— I can’t stand the taste of evil! You’ll only hear true and right words from my mouth; not one syllable will be twisted or skewed. You’ll recognize this as true—you with open minds; truth-ready minds will see it at once. Prefer my life-disciplines over chasing after money, and God-knowledge over a lucrative career. For Wisdom is better than all the trappings of wealth; nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her. (Proverbs 8:1-11 MSG)
There is truly so much that goes into this chapter. It reaps with ripe fresh juicy revelations. So in a future post I will dive deeper. For the sake of creation and its process we will focus on this part first.
Let’s check out Lady Wisdoms part in creation, the perspective of God written through the wisest man known to all of man.
“ GOD sovereignly made me—the first, the basic— before he did anything else. I was brought into being a long time ago, well before Earth got its start. I arrived on the scene before Ocean, yes, even before Springs and Rivers and Lakes. Before Mountains were sculpted and Hills took shape, I was already there, newborn; Long before GOD stretched out Earth’s Horizons, and tended to the minute details of Soil and Weather, And set Sky firmly in place, I was there. When he mapped and gave borders to wild Ocean, built the vast vault of Heaven, and installed the fountains that fed Ocean, When he drew a boundary for Sea, posted a sign that said NO TRESPASSING, And then staked out Earth’s Foundations, I was right there with him, making sure everything fit. Day after day I was there, with my joyful applause, always enjoying his company, Delighted with the world of things and creatures, happily celebrating the human family. (Proverbs 8:22-31 MSG)
Let that sink in, in the words of Hebrew “Selah” … Meditate on that. Lady wisdom was the very first thing that God created meaning that He had her first before He had all other things. A word that is strongly coordinated with wisdom is light. This why people use the phrase ” enlighten one”. It is to imply that the individual has been revealed additional information or understanding than others. This something has been revealed or enlightened. For example the book of revelation is to show the end of something by revealing it. In order to obtain something it first must be revealed so that it can be restored. Something being revealed does not mean that it suddenly appeared. It only means that the amount of awareness has been raised. This process is called receiving revelation.
This would mean that revelation, understanding, wisdom was the first thing God obtained before creating all other things. Take an additional look;
The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. (Proverbs 8:22-23 KJV)
It makes a lot more sense than before. If you’re going to create like the Creator God, your Father, you won’t be able to do so ignorantly. You’re going to need wisdom, you’re going to need to be enlighten children of light, you’re going to need revelation. If you’re a christian, the bible calls “certain children” children of light. However that is for another article on another day.
For now let’s tie this one together and bring it full circle. The more you read and study the bible you will see that mankind is quite stubborn. You also see that God uses his same methods throughout. And here is no different;
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:1-3 KJV)
Pause for a moment and re-read those three verses. It appears that the bible contradicted its self, but on the contrary. It says that the word was first … Not wisdom. It says that nothing was made without the word .. But Lady Wisdom said nothing was made without her. Lady Wisdom said she was the first thing made, and yet … John, says the Word was first.
Take a closer look;
In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:4 KJV)
This verse is so deep and it correlates perfect with proverbs. There isn’t enough time in this article to show the parallels. Just know that Lady Wisdom informs the reader that in proverbs she has two hands and the hand both posses things. And in her “right” hand is “life”. (there is significance for the right and left hand in the bible).
Here is where you will see the method of God once more repeated;
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:5 KJV)
Does it sound familiar, it should;
God spoke: “Light!” And light appeared. God saw that light was good and separated light from dark. God named the light Day, he named the dark Night. It was evening, it was morning— Day One. (Genesis 1:3-5 MSG)
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. (Genesis 1:4 KJV)
Hmmm… And the darkness comprehend not the light. What’s the point of understanding the light?? Well later in the verse you’re told why;
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:5 KJV)
Now the bible gives a physical example of what was first said;
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. (John 1:6-11 KJV)
The darkness comprehend or understood “not” …
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. (John 1:10-11 KJV)
Now you can fully see full circle, who this light was, and through this light all things were created. And it was the same exact method throughout the bible. If you desire to create you must first have light.
If you’re a business creator, an architect, a professor, no matter your calling. If you’re going to excel higher than anyone ever before. You need revelation.
